Various methods are used for the best learning outcomes. one unit each for HNC and HND, have an assessment that is set by Pearson. All assignments will ensure that the requirements of the employers are fulfilled and so that you may be able to seek further education. 

Knowledge and understanding are evaluated through

  • Coursework, often based on case studies

  • Time–based activity including examinations

Cognitive development is evaluated through

Practical skills are evaluated through

  • Practical reports with planning documentation

Transferable skills are evaluated through

Acceptable entry profile includes:

  • Level 3 qualification in Business or any other relevant subject, including international equivalent.
  • GCE Advanced Level with strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject, or international equivalent.
  • International equivalent between GCSE and A levels, supported by 2 years related and provable work experience;
  • GCSE grades at A* to C (or 9 to 4), Level 2 qualification, or international equivalent, supported by 3 years related and provable work experience.
  • 5 years related and provable work experience.

English Proficiency
CEFR B2
Students who are non-native English speakers or who have not studied Level 3 in United Kingdom are expected to hold an accepted English language B2 (CEFR)

Interview
All applicants must pass an Academic Interview

Certification
The final certificate is issued by Pearson Education.

The Level 5 Higher National Diploma allows students to specialise by committing to specific career paths and progression routes to degree-level study.

Once students have achieved the Level 5 Higher National Diploma, they can develop

their careers in the business sector by:

  • entering employment
  • continuing existing employment
  • linking with the appropriate professional body
  • committing to continuing professional development, or
  • going to university for a top-up degree programme and continue for Master’s Degree/Phd.
